POOMOTTUKAL - Joint Celebration of Grannies and Grand Children
KIDS organized a novel programme on 9th of May, 2018 at St. Ann’s Higher Secondary School, Anapuzha Kottapuram. Uniqueness of the event was writing a letter to the beloved mother penned by their own grand children who attracted attention of every one to the extent with utmost joy and happiness mothers dropped tears from their eyes.
POOMBATTAKAL (Butterflies)
Poombattakal was a programmes specially framed for the nursery children by the social work students placed in KIDS for their field placement. It was for the first time in the history of KIDS that we have arranged something for the nursery children and we were quite thrilled by the wonderful experience we had. They had various competitions and we were astonished by the creativity and assertiveness of the little ones.

Cyber Security Seminar St. Anne’s HSS, Kottapuram
A seminar was conducted for the students of 11th and 12th and for their parents regarding the Cyber Security and the support of the judiciary and the police for the victims of cyber-crime.Mothers’ day celebrated by Poomottukal
Series of events were organized at Pallipuram, Anapuzha, Kunjithai, Nandyattukunnam, Kottapuram, Thuruthur, Thuruthipuram and Kota under the leadership of Poomottukal (Children’s group) to commemorate mother’s day. It was an opportunity for the children to open their heart and express their love and respect to their dearest mothers. Programme was organized under the aegis of professional social workers of neighboring social work colleges. During this battery of events more than 800 mothers and children participated.
