Annual celebration of Kalavathuruth Nora SHG & Tejas Poomot
The annual celebration of Kalavathuruth Nora SHG and Tejas Poomot was held. Rev. Fr.Jojo Payyapilly (KIDS Asst. Director), Parish Vicar Rev.Fr.Shiju Kallarakkal and ward member participated in the programme. Prizes were distributed to the winners of the sports competitions. After that, artistic programmes were held.
Awareness seminar under the leadership of Madaplathurut Federation
An awareness seminar was held under the leadership of Madaplathurut Federation involving SHG and Kudumbashree members. Ward member Shri Laiju, CDS and ADS members were present in the programme. Animator Mrs. Jansi Joseph presided over the programme.
Environment Day Celebration and the distribution of study materials to the Poomotukal
Under the leadership of Kodungallur Udayam Federation, Vyakshathai planting and book distribution to the children of SHG members were held on the occasion of Environment Day. Udayam Federation President Mrs. Ambili Srinivasan sponsored the books and distributed them.
Avenir 2K22
Career Guidance Class A career guidance class named AVENIR 2K22 was organized for the students under the leadership of Kottapuram Integrated Development Society (KIDS). Kottapuram Diocese Education Committee Director Rev. Fr. Francis Thayath performed the inauguration.
Distributed study materials
With the support of Stilla, Namaste Foundation and Fr. Dominic Pinheiro, KIDS distributed study materials to the scholarship students. Kottapuram Diocese Vicar General Mon. Anthony Kurishingal inaugurated the distribution of study materials.
OTTIMO
“OTTIMO” - FREE CAREER GUIDANCE FOR EXCELLENCE:
In collaboration, with Prof. P.C. Thomas coaching class, Thrissur, free career counseling for excelling students called “Ottimo” was organized at KIDS campus .It was as part our commitment to support poor meritorious students in their higher studies. Hundreds of poor meritorious students have been sponsored through free career guidance during the last 8 years.
Ottimo-handholding support to poor students
With the objective of supporting meritorious students hailing from poor families and motivate them to get admission in professional course such as engineering and medicine project Ottimowas launched on 1stof June, 2019. “Ottimo” free career guidance class for excellence have been organized in collaboration with Pro. P. C. Thomas coaching class, Thrissur. This initiative was as part of our commitment to support meritorious students to clear their entrance examination. Hundreds of students were sponsored through free career guidance cum entrance class during the last 8 years.
Motus - Sponsorship project for motivation kick started
Project was launched with the objective of motivating students to excel in their studies. Selected student beneficiaries were given study materials at KIDS auditorium after inspirational and thought provoking motivational talk delivered by invited dignitaries. Motivational classes were handled by Sr. Juliet and Sr. Daisy in an interesting manner.
UNARVODE MUNNERAM - RISE TO MARCH AHEAD:
KIDS organized counseling cum art festival at Municipal Town Hall, Kodungallur. It was inaugurated by Adv. V.D. Satheesan MLA. The Resource persons were Mr. Naveen Kumar, professional trainer on motivation, movie artists Mr. D.J. Gino and playback singer Ms. Neha Venugopal. They anchored and put up vibrant stage show. It was attended by more than 100 students. It was conducted at different places across coastal areas of Ernakulam and Thrissur districts.
Sauhridam (Friendship)
In order to utilize summer vacation creatively, KIDS organized summer camps for young adolescent girls and boys in collaboration with different parishes namely St. Jude Church and St. Sebastian Church from 26th April - 21st May 2019. Events were organized at Methala, Kottuvally, Thuruthur and Anapuzha. More than 300 students actively participated. Purpose of the camp was to provide recreational facilities to children. It was a great opportunity for learning through play way methods. Young girls and boys were thrilled and enjoyed summer camp.

- Twinkle Star Poomottu, Pallippuram celebrated their New Year Day on 02.01.2022. 17 members, Animator, Promoter, Federation leaders and parents were present at the celebration.
- Little flower, Bastianthuruth, Anappuzha celebrated their New Year Day on 08.01.2022. 22 members and their parents were present at the celebration. Rev.Fr. Neil chadayamuri, (Assistant Director, KIDS) inaugurated the celebration

VIRTUAL CLASS
KIDS Kottappuram Organised three day virtual class as “PRABODANAM” from 23.01.2022 to 25.01.2022 for members of poomottu. As the part of this programme KIDS internship students delivered various classes such as Yoga, Hobby, Pet care and Agriculture, etc. Poomuttu members also got opportunity to interact each other.
